Spence & C0., Ship Chandling business was established in the year 1969 at Chennai by Mr. M. Ramachandran. B.Com., as proprietor concern . During 1980 Mr. R. Rajamanickam his son became the partner completing his Business Management Studies and looking after the Business.
Spence&Co., became the member of ISSA in the year 1991 and developed own Branch Offices at Mumbai, Vishakapatnam, Tuticorin, Kakinada, Mangalore , Kandla , Jamnagar( Sikka ) and has potential associate supply Partners at all minor ports in India.
We ourself proudly say that we are one of the oldest member of ISSA among the very few ship chandlers still going strong.
In addition to Ship Chandling R. Rajamanickam, partner developed the Mobile Crane Service in the name of Cranes lndia and equipped with 25 Heavy Lift Mobile Cranes works in port and outside the Port and engaged in Erection Job.
